RESOLUTION NO. 8844
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
AND SERVICE CENTER.
CONTRACT NO. 3006-38/3D FOR THE CARLSBAD SAFETY
WHEREAS, an added expenditure of $16,596.75 is required for the
installation of fire dampers, ducting and fittings at the Carlsbad Safety and
Service Center; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved the contract for the
heating and air conditioning at the Safety Center which did not include the
added cost of this modification; and
WHEREAS, the Architect, the Construction Manager, and City staff have
concluded the added fire dampers are a necessary expenditure; and
WHEREAS, funds are available within Account No. 300-820-1810-3006
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Change Order No. 7 in the amount of $16,596.75 for Kinney Air
Conditioning is hereby approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 14th day of OctQber , 1986 by the following vote, to
wit:
