RESOLUTION NO. 8856
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
MISCELLANEOUS EMPLOYEES' SALARY PLAN OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, representatives of manqement and the Carlsbad City Employees'
Association conducted negotiations pursuant to the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act,
regarding wages and other terms and conditions of employment for the period 3uly
1, 1986, through 3uly 1, 1987; and
CITY OF CAFILSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE
WHEREAS, said representatives reached agrement and submitted the Memorardum
of Understanding to the City Council which was approved; and
WHEREAS, the secord year of the Memorandum of Understarding required the
canpletion of a salary survey of benchmark positions in order to make necessary
salary adjustments, and that said survey has been conducted accordingly; and
WHERFAS, the survey results have been identified in the Miscellaneous
Employees' Salary Schedule, marked Exhibit A, and incorporated by reference
herein; and
WHEREAS, fmds for this salary adjustment are available in the City's
c ont ing ency ac catn t .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Miscellaneous Employees' Salary Schedule is hereby accepted.
3. That the following amounts are hereby appopriated fran the fmd
balances :
a.
account of the Housirq Department,
b. $818 fran the adult learnirg program to the salary account of the
Adult Learning Program,
c.
Redevelopment Department,
$1,867 fran the fmd balance of the housing fmd to the salary
$678 fran the redevelopment flnd to the salary account of the
