RESOLUTION NO. 8908
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING
THE IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF FARADAY AVENUE
WHEREAS, the construction of Faraday Avenue from Palmer
Way to Orion Way was completed on October 6, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad,
California is required to record the Notice of Completion for
said project; and
WHEREAS, all final costs associated with said project have
been identified;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the construction of Faraday Avenue from Palmer
Way to Orion Way is deemed complete and hereby accepted.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad,
California is directed to record the Notice of Completion for
said project.
4. That the Purchasing Officer of the City of Carlsbad,
California is authorized to increase the project purchase order
No. 15440 $12,896.80 to enable payment of all final costs and
project retention.

5. That the Director of Finance of the City of Carlsbad,
California is authorized to close the project account upon final
payment of all outstanding final costs, claims, and project
expenses.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED ata regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 9th day of December , 1986,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine and Mamaux
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
