RESOLUTION NO. 8909
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ,THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH
THE CALIFORNIA COASTAL CONSERVANCY ACCEPTING GRANT
FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT BEACH ACCESS FACILITIES FOR THE
CARLSBAD BOULEVARD SEAWALL, PROJECT NO. 3185
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad, California, has applied
for a grant from the California Coastal Conservancy to
construct beach access facilities for the Carlsbad Boulevard
Seawall Project, Project No. 3185; and
WHEREAS, the California Coastal Conservancy has approved
said grant in the amount of $166,515 to enable construction of
certain beach access facilities integral to the Carlsbad
Boulevard Seawall Project; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of said Grant is in the best
interest of the City of Carlsbad and its residents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City of Carlsbad does hereby accept said
grant from the California Coastal Conservancy to provide beach
access facilities for the Carlsbad Boulevard Seawall Project.

3. That the Mayor, City Clerk, and City Manager or his
authorized representative of the City of Carlsbad, California,
are hereby authorized to execute said agreement with the
California Coastal Conservancy.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 16th day of December , 1986,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine and Mamaux
