RESOLUTION NO. 8950
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ADDITION
OF SHELVING ON THE LIBRARY MEZZANINE AND TRANSFERRING FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the Carlsbad City Library
purchase additional shelving to provide for the removal and redistributio
of books on the library mezzanine and,
WHEREAS, additional funds in the amount of $15,000 will be required to
fund the new shelving and the dismantling and reassembling of existing
s he1 vi ng ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of
Carl sbad as follows:
1. That the tPansfer of $15,00O’from the City Council ‘S contingency
account is hereby approved, reducing the contingency fund balance to
$708.133.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad held the 27th day of January , 1987, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine and Mamaux
NOES: None
