RESOLUTION NO. 8993
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
DECLARING A FIRE TRUCK SURPLUS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF
SUCH AN ITEM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined a 1969 Barton American fire truck is surplus;
and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the City of Carlsbad
to dispose of this unit,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitation is true and correct.
2. That the item listed in Exhibit "A" be declared surplus.
3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to proceed to dispose of the surplus fire truck.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, at a regular meeting held on the 24th
day of March , 1987, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and Larson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
CLAUDE A. -LEWIS, Mayor
