A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCLL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL
ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE PALOMAR
AIRPORT ROAD WEST ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, PROJECT Nn- 3151
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Council has previously awarded
a consultant agreement with the firm of Pountney and
Associates, Inc. far the design of the Palomar Airport Road
West Assessment District, Project No. 3151; and
WHEREAS, certain additional engineering services for
waterline, pressure reducing station and hydrology data are
required for said project; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned consultant has furnished lump
sum costs to perform said additional engineering services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the project design engineering firm of Pountney
and Associates, Inc. are hereby authorized to conduct
waterline, pressure reducing station, and hydrology data
services for the costs agreed upon in the total amount of
$. 3 0,O 6 5.
3. That adequate funding has been appropriated by the
Carlsbad City Council in the 1986-87 C.I.P. budget to enable
the aforementioned expanded scope of work.
4. That the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized to
increase the existing purchase order with Pountney and

Associates, Inc. to include the approved amount of the expanded
scope of engineering services.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 26th day of May
1987 by the following vote, to wit:
