RESOLUTION NO. 9107
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FROM THE LITERACY GRANT FUND BALANCE
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the 1986-87 Operating
Budget, and
WHEREAS, an error in the process of consolidation of past
year's grant accounts for the Adult Learning Program caused charges
to be made improperly against the current year grant, and
WHEREAS, an appropriation and transfer of $12,182 from the
fund balance is necessary to correct this error.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council hereby authorizes an appropriation
be made from the Literacy Grant fund balance in the amount of
$12,182,
3. That the City Council hereby authorizes the fund transfer
of said funds to the Adult Learning Program,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at
Council of the City of Carlsbad held
1987, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES:Council Members Lewis, Kulchin,
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
