HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-10-13; City Council; Resolution 92511 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 9251 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING OUT OF STATE TRAVEL FOR THE CULTURAL ARTS MANAGER WHEREAS, the Arts Element to the General Plan states Arts Education as a major goal, and WHEREAS, the Arts Manager has been invited as one of 150 in the United States to attend a national invitational symposium on Arts Education, and WHEREAS, the symposium is held in Interlochen, Michigan, and WHEREAS, all expenses are paid by the American Council for the Arts except travel. ,NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California as follows: 1. The Cultural Arts Manager is hereby authorized to travel to Interlochen, Michigan to attend the symposium titled, "Towards a New Era in Arts Education." 2. That travel expenses not to exceed $325 are hereby approved. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting Of the Carlsbad City Council held on the 13thday of Qctober, 1987, bqt the following vote to wit: - AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and Larson NOES: None ABSENT: None ATTEST :
