HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-10-20; City Council; Resolution 9264A -. 3 i .; 4 C c r 4 € s 1c 11 12 12 14 15 l€ 17 I& 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 9264 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM AT PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD AND CAMINO VIDA ROBLE, PROJECT NO. 3235, AS COMPLETE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has deemed it necessary and in the public interest to install a traffic signal system at the intersection of Palomar Airport Road and Camino Vida Roble; and WHEREAS, adjacent private property development in this area has been previously conditioned to financially contribute to the installation of the traffic signal system; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has previously awarded a contract to install this traffic signal system; and WHEREAS, the contractor for this project has satisfactorily completed the installation of this traffic signal system; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the installation of the traffic signal system at the intersection of Palomar Airport Road and Camino Vida Roble, Project No. 3235, is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is directed to record the Notice of Completion. /// /// /// 3. That the Finance Director is hereby directed to close the project account upon final payment of all claims and costs. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on the 20th day of October 1987 by the following vote, to wit: I AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and Larson
