RESOLUTION NO. 9289
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, TRANSFERRING FUNDS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A PERPETUAL LICENSE FOR THE FINANCE
AND PAYROLL SOFTWARE SOURCE CODE.
WHEREAS, Finance and Payroll software applications were
installed in 1984, and;
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase a perpetual license
to use the software source code; and
WHEREAS, the original agreements provide that such a
license may be purchased at a cost of $42,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the purchase of the perpetual license for the
source code of the Finance and Payroll software is approved.
3. That the transfer of $42,000 from the contingency
account (Account #001-840-1990-2999) to the Data Processing
budget (Account #640-1920-2667), is hereby approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 10th day of November , 1987, by the
followina vote. to wit: AYES:
