A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CARLSBAD TO EXECUTE THI
FOR THE DESIGN OF PHASE IV OF THE ENCINA WATER POLLUTIOI
CONTROL FACILITY AND THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF INTER11
SIONS TO THE ENCINA CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
THIRTY-SIXTH SUPPLEMENT TO THE BASIC AGREEMENT TO PROVIDI
IMPROVEMENTS TO UNIT J OF SAID FACILITY AND APPROVING REVI,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carl sbad, Cal
fol 1 ows :
1. That the City of Carlsbad hereby approves and agrees to the TI
Supplement to the Basic Agreement authorizing the design of Phase
Encina Water Pollution Control Facility and the design and constr
interim improvements to Unit "J" of said facil ity.
2. That the Mayor of this City be, and is hereby, authorized '
the Thirty-Sixth Supplement to the Basic Agreement on behalf of tt
Carl sbad.
3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Carlsbad approves i
Encina 1987-1988 Capital Improvement Program increasing Phase IV
funds from $1,015,000 to $3,210,000 to fund the accelerated design a
in Exhibit A attached.

Council held on the 26th day of January ,1988 by the followin
