RESOLUTION NO. 88-21
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITUF OF FUNDS TO MAKE EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO AN 18" SEWER MAIN
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City
Carlsbad to make repairs to an 18" sewer main, and;
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive bid received for 1
project was submitted by Hubbard Construction Company
Encinitas, California in the amount of $39,795.00, and;
WHEREAS, the work is determined to be of an emergenc
and;
WHEREAS, the emergency procedure is authorized by t
California Public Contracts Code, Section 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $39,795.00 by Hubbard Construct]
Company to make repairs to the 18" sewer main is here
accepted and execution of work to proceed is authorized.
