RESOLUTION NO. 88-23
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS
FROM THE POLICE ASSET FORFEITURE FWD FOR THE
SUPPORT OF POLICE ACTIVITIES.
WHEREAS, from time to time, the City of Carlsbad receives funds
assets resulting from the Police Department's drug enforcement acti
and
WHEREAS, said funds must be restricted to use in supporting Poli
activities including the acquisition of equipment, supplies or serv
and
WHEREAS, the appropriation of said funds is necessary before any
expenditure of funds can take place; and
WHEREAS, the Police Forfeiture Asset Fund has an available fund
of $19,040.55;
WHEREAS, City Manager approval shall be required on any expendit
funds from this source, in addition to the normal controls establis
the City's purchasing policies.
NO%, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City c
Carlsbad, California, that the amount of $19,040.55 be hereby apprc
from the available fund balance of the Police Asset Forfeiture Func
support of Police activities.
