RESOLUTION NO. 88-34
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING
A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS TO
PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD EAST OF EL CAMINO REAL, PROJECT
NO. 3243, TO WILLIAM J. KIRCHNAVY CONSTRUCTION, INC.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of C
for the construction of improvements to Palomar Airpo:
east of El Camino Real, Project No. 3243; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for said proje
submitted by William J. Kirchnavy Construction, Incorpore
the amount of $729,556.70; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsl
Costa Real Municipal Water District have previously enter
an agreement on November 10, 1987 for the design, const
and administration of certain waterline facilities and
appurtenances to be reimbursed by the District to the Cit
WHEREAS, sufficient funds in the amount of $785,423
currently available in the project account No. 320-1840-E
for said project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
