A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING A TRANSFER OF
$20,000 FROM THE CITY COUNCIL CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT
(001-840-1990-2999) INTO BUILDING MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT (001-840-5320) FOR EMERGENCY BUILDING
REPAIRS FOR "KRUGER HOUSE"
WHEREAS, the work to repair fire damage at t
City building known as "Kruger Housell, is
determined to be an emergency, and;
WHEREAS, informal bids have been received

for the necessary building repairs which indicate
total expenditures will not exceed $20,000, and;

WHEREAS, the emergency procedure is authoriz
by the California Public Contracts Code, Section
20168.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows :
1. The above recitations are true and

3. The City Council does hereby approve by
at least a four-fifths vote, the authorization tc
transfer this $20,000 into Building Maintenance
account number 001-840-5320-2460 for emergency
building repairs to Kruger House.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council
the City of Carlsbad, California at a regular
meeting held on the 9th day of February , 198E
by the following vote, to wit:
