HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-03-08; City Council; Resolution 88-73.f. 0 a 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 I 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 88-73 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PROJECT CHANGE ORDER NOS. 7 AND 8 FOR THE COLLEGE BOULEVARD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, PROJECT NO. 3188 WHEREAS, the construction of the College Bc Assessment District, Project No. 3188, is proceeding a( to schedule; and WHEREAS, an opticon system is necessary for the el vehicles to safely control intersection movements; and WHEREAS, installation of median island lighting k requested by the Koll Company as one (1) of the partici] the assessment district ; and WHEREAS, the Koll Company will be assessed for 1005 costs of the median lighting in the amount of $78,685; a: WHEREAS, sufficient contingency funds exist wit assessment district project account to enable the appi the aforementioned Change Orders; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci: City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct 2. That project Change Order Nos. 7 and 8 in tl amount of $86,620 are hereby approved and the Mayor i Clerk are authorized to execute said Change Orders. F execution of Change Order Nos. 7 and 8 by the Mayor, Clerk is authorized and directed to return copies executed Change Orders to Municipal Projects for process 3.
