RESOLUTION NO. 88-91
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A $2,900 GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA STATE LIBRARY.
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does hereby re
fol 1 ows:
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library serves the entire community i
provide opportunities for educational and cultural enrichment, and
WHEREAS, the Carl sbad City Library has a strong children ' s progr
aimed at making lifelong library users, and
WHEREAS, this program will help to develop a stronger relationsh
between the library and hearing impaired youngsters, and
WHEREAS, the California State Library has awarded this grant to
Carl sbad City Library.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City o
Carlsbad, California as follows:
1. That the California State Library grant of $2,900 is hereby
2. That the grant amount is hereby appropriated for the uses de
herein .
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsba
Counci 1 held on the 22nd day of March , 1988 by the following
