RESOLUTION NO. 88-117
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS TO COI!
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CONTRACTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has entered into a
Cooperation Agreement with the County of San Diego to
participate in Community Development Block Grant fundir
WHEREAS, the City Council notifies the County annc
of selected projects for funding and enters into a cont
to receive funds for said project year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized to execute the contract amendments.

FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMMUNITY. DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECT

WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the County and the City have earlier entered an Agreement for management and implementation of a Comm Development Block Grant projects (County Contract NO. 22638)
WHEREAS, said Agreement authorized funds for construction of a swimming pool enclosure at the Boys and (
Club; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has requested an addit:
$67,354 of Community Development Block Grant funds to cover overruns in the project: and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has requested that fund. reallocated from the remaining balances of the Washington St Paving and the Oak Street Improvements Projects to cover cost overrun.
IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
1. Paragraph 2 of said County Contract No. 22631 amended to read as follows:
2. Compensation: County agrees to pay city as 1 compensation for implementing the Proj described herein project costs not to exceed sum of $256,777.
