RESOLUTION NO. 88-228
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS
. AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS AND TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT MELROSE DRIVE AND RANCHO SANTA FE ROAD, PROJECT NO. 3280
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsb,
determined it necessary, desirable, and in the public i1
to construct improvements and install a traffic signal sy:
Melrose Drive and Rancho Santa Fe Road, Project No. 3280;
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and contract documer
the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equj
transportation, and other expenses necessary or incident
said project , Project No. 3280, have been prepared and
file in the Municipal Projects Department of the C:
Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsk
previously entered into an agreement with the County
Diego concerning County contribution to this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans, specifications, and contract do
as presented are hereby approved.

3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is
authorized and directed to proceed to publish, in acco
with law, Notice to Contractors inviting bids fo

signal at Melrose Drive and Rancho Santa Fe Road, Proje
3280, and in accordance with the plans, specification:
contract documents hereinabove referred.
4. That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad

formally appropriates the $47,000 of County of San
contribution to the project account No. 320-820-1840-3280,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting
Carlsbad City Council held on the 12th day of July
1988, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Membe.rs Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and Lar
NOES: None
ABSENT : None
