A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AND THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA COMMISSION ON PEACE OFFICER STANDARDS AND TRAINING FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PUBLIC
SAFETY DISPATCHER PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad desires to qualify to r
aid from the State of California under provisions of Calif
Penal Code Section 13522, Chapter 1, Title 4, Part 4; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 13510(c), Chapter 1, Car
Police Department will adhere to standards for recruitment
training established by California Commission on Peace Off
Standards and Training (POST).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
City of Carlsbad that pursuant to Section 13512, Chapter 1
Commission on POST and its representatives may make such i
as deemed appropriate by POST Commission to ascertain that
Police Department public safety dispatcher personnel adher
standards for selection and training established by Commis
on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
