RESOLUTION NO. 88-418
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTATION AND RELATED TECHNICAL STUDIES FOR THE BATIQUITOS LAGOON ENHANCEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 0000
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ca
California, has awarded on April 19, 1988 a consultant aq
for the environmental documentation and related technical
for the Batiquitos Lagoon Enhancement Project, Project Nc
and
WHEREAS, additional investigations and analys
required for this project outside of the scope of work
project as originally defined; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ca
California, finds it in the public interest to enlarge th
of work of said project to include said additional investi
and analysis to maximize the environmental information av
to the City, Responsible Agencies, and the public with res
the Batiquitos Lagoon Enhancement Project; and
WHEREAS, the Port of Los Angeles has recommended t
City of Carlsbad undertake said enlarged scope of work; an1
WHEREAS, the consultant for said project has fu
an estimate of cost to perform said additional investigatil
analysis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City
of the City of Carlsbad, California as follows:

analysis in the amount not to exceed $54,074 in accordance
consultant's proposal dated September 30, 1988, wl

3. That the City Council of the City of C1
California, hereby accepts the assurance from the Port
Angeles that all approved changes in the consultant's scope
for the environmental documentation and related technical
phase of the project shall be reimbursed to City from the
Los Angeles in addition to all City of Carlsbad adminis
reimbursement expenses for said phase of the project.
4. That the City Council of the City of Ci
California, hereby authorizes the Director of Finance to 1
consultant payment requests and City reimbursement expense 1
to the Port of Los Angeles in accordance with the intent
action.
