RESOLUTION NO. 89-7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
EXCHANGE OF VISTA'S UNOBLIGATED FEDERAL
AID URBAN ENTITLEMENT
WHEREAS, the sale of the City of Vista's unoblig
Federal Aid Urban Funds is advantageous to the City of Carls
and
WHEREAS, the City of Vista's Unobligated Balancc
Federal Aid Urban Funds is approximately $614,500; and
WHEREAS, the City of Vista has offered to exchange
unobligated Federal Aid Urban Funds at an exchange ratc
Eighty Percent (80%), and that the State of Califc
Department of Transportation will be acting as a broke
clearing house for Federal Aid Urban Apportionments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That all of the above recitations are true
correct.
2. That the exchange of funds is hereby authorized.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
directed to execute the agreement with the City of Vista
the City Clerk is further authorized to forward an exec
copy of said agreement and this Resolution to the City of Vi
the City of Carlsbad's Municipal Projects Department and
State of California, Department of Transportation, District
San Diego, Attention: Gene Marshall.

4. That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
hereby appropriate to the project account number 3205 all
funds for this project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting 03
Carlsbad City Council held on the 3rd day of January
1989, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, Mamaux and La
NOES: None
ABSENT : None
