RESOLUTION NO. 89-8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBA;
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A COMMITTEE TO IDENTIFY AMENITIES Al
FACILITIES EVALUATE ALTERNATIVE FINANCING METHODS TO FUND RECREATION,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined, based on tl

Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor to serve on thi
Committee; and

25 WHEREAS, the Mayor shall also select one (1) at larg

member to serve on this Committee as an alternate.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of t:
City of Carlsbad, California? as follows:
1. That the following citizen's of Carlsbad a
hereby appointed to the Recreational Facilities Financi:
Committee:
1. Ed Scarpelli
2. Ramona Finnila
3. Jerry Rombotis
4. Greg Armstrong
5. Jack Schumaker
6. A1 Sutton
7. Jim Smith
8. Frank Aleshire
9. Kathy Blair
10. W.R. Beverly
11. John Strayer
Atlernate Michael David-Smith
2. That the Recreational Facilities Financing Committe
is directed to specifically identify Recreational amenities a
outlined in Proposition M, review alternative funding method
and shall report to the City Council the results of this revie
on March 7, 1989.
3. That the City Manager shall assign such City staff a
necessary to provide assistance to this Committee.
