RESOLUTION NO. 89-44
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 FOR THE CARLSBAD SENIOR
SENIOR AND CARLSBAD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
EDUCATION CENTER AND DIRECTING STAFF
REGARDING REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS
WHEREAS, the City Council, acting as the Carlsbad Hou
and Redevelopment Commission, approved an agreement with
Carlsbad Unified School DistrIct on April 5, 1988 regarding
joint development of the Carlsbad Senior Center and Carl
Unified School District Education Center Project: and
WHEREAS, the City Council did thereafter on Septembe
1988 award a construction contract for the construction os
pro j ect : and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 regarding costs for hazar
, waste discovery during the site grading has been prepared
executed by the project contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Change Order No. 3 as presented is he
approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute said Ch
Order. Following the Mayor's signature of said document,
original of same shall be returned to Municipal Projects by
City Clerk for processing.
