RESOLUTION NO. 89-108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR DESIGN OF INFORMATION KIOSK
WHEREAS, Chapter 2.18 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
governs the Carlsbad Arts Commission and establishes the Civic
Arts Fund for public art: and
WHEREAS, expenditures from the Civic Arts Fund requi
City Council approval: and
WHEREAS, the Arts Commission recommends that artist
designed kiosks be used to promote cultural events, and
WHEREAS, the Arts Commission advises a maximum cost
$2,000 should be appropriated to fund the design of this proje
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
the City of Carlsbad, California, authorizes expenditures fror
Civic Arts Fund as follows:
1. An amount of $2,000 for the design of an informi
kiosk and related administrative expenses.
2. That funds in the amount of $2,000 are hereby
appropriated in Civic Arts Fund No. 142-840-4210-2495 for thi:
purpose and that any and all unexpended appropriation within
arts fund shall be carried forward into the 1989/90 fiscal ye'
