RESOLUTION NO. 89-123
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING STATE
FUNDING, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTING A
GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION REGARDING THE
IMPROVEMENTS FOR MANZANO DRIVE, PROJECT NO. 3313
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbac
determined it necessary, desirable, and in the public int
to construct improvements on Manzano Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby enter int
agreement with the State of California, Department of Park:
Recreation regarding said project: and
WHEREAS, the State of California does hereby offer t
City of Carlsbad a grant of easement affecting necessary r
of-way to construct said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct
2. That an agreement between the City of Carlsbac
the State of California, Department of Parks and Recreatic
hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorize(
directed to execute said agreement. Following the Ma:
signature of said agreement, the City Clerk is fu
authorized and directed to forward copies of said agreemei
the State of California, Department of Parks and Recrea
P.O. Box 942896, Sacramento, CA 94296-0001 and the Munil
Pro j ects Department.
3. That a grant of easement from the Statc

Recreation, to the City of Carlsbad affecting said project
hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are hm
authorized and directed to accept and execute said grar
easement. The City Clerk is further directed to record
grant of easement. Following recordation, the City Clel
directed to forward copies of said easement to the Stat
California, Department of Parks and Recreation, P.O. Box 94
Sacramento, CA 94296-0001 and the Municipal Pro
Department.
4. That the City Council does hereby appropriate t
project account no. 3313 the $60,000 of State funds t
forwarded to the City for this project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting 0
Carlsbad City Council held on the 18th day of April
1989, by the following vote, to wit:
