A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIl APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE DESIGN OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM AT Tt INTERSECTION OF CARLSBAD BOULEVARD/PINE AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carl sbad, Cal iforn
determined it necessary and in the public interest to design a traffic
system at the intersection of Carlsbad Boulevard/Pine Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the traffic signal system is scheduled to be fun
constructed in the 1989/90 Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $5,000 are necessary for the design
traffic signal system; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $5,000 are necessary to be apprc
from the unappropriated fund balance of the Public Facilities Fee Fund (:
to Account Number 320-840-1840-3332.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ci
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council authorizes the City Engineer to
proposals from qual i fi ed Consulting Civi 1 Engineers for the preparation 0'
plans and contract documents for said traffic signal system.

3. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized and dire
appropriate funds from the Pub1 ic Facil i ties Fee Fund unappropriated fund
(320-890) in the amount of $5,000 to Account Number 320-840-1840-3332.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlst
Council held on the 16th day of May , 1989 by the following '
