RESOLUTION NO. 89-167
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ENGINEER'S
"VPQRT" POR PRVCEBBINGB FOR THE ANNUAL LEVY
OF ASSESSMENTS WITHIN A SPECIAL MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF CARLS
CALIFORNIAf pursuant to the terms of the "Landscaping
Lighting Act of 1972", being Division 15, Part 2 of the Str
and Highways Code of the State of California, did, by prec
Resolution, initiate proceeding5 and ordered the preparatio
an Engineer's "Report" for the annual levy of assessments wi
a special maintenance district, said special mainten
district known and designated as STREET LIGHTING AND LANDSCF
DISTRICT NO. 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Mainter
District"); and,
WHEREAS, there has now been presented to this City Cou
the "Report" as required by said Division 15 of the Streets
Highways Code and as previously directed by Resolution; and,
WHEREAS, this City Council has now carefully examined
reviewed the "Report" as presented, and is satisfied with
and all of the items and documents as set forth therein, an
satisfied that the assessments, on a preliminary basis,
been spread in accordance with the benefits received from
improvements to be maintained, as set forth in said "Report".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true
correct.
