RESOLUTION NO. 89-183
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OE
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A $26,840 UATEI;
RECLAMATION TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FROM THE
SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the City Council approved a $54,680 consultanl
contract with the firm of Luke-Dudek Civil Engineers, Inc.
for preparation of a Reclaimed Water Master Plan for the Citr;
of Carlsbad, and;
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $54,680 were approved bj
the City Council to fund the Reclamation Study in account
number 511-840-6110-2479, and;
WHEREAS, the San Diego County Water Authority through its
Technical Assistance Grant Program has agreed to match fiftl
percent (50%) or $26,840 of the total cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Council approve the acceptance of a $26,84C
grant from the San Diego County Water Authority.
3. Authorize the Finance Director to appropriate grant
funds in the amount of $26,840.
