HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-07-18; City Council; Resolution 89-254e. .- ’V ” 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2o 1 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 a 0 RESOLUTION NO. 89-254 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN LIBRARY BUILDING CONSULTANT AGREEMENT FOR THE NEW SOUTH CARLSBAD LIBRARY BUILDING PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has solicited proposals f programming required for the new South Carlsbad Library i expanded existing Elm Avenue library facility; and WHEREAS, all prospective firms were required to detailed qualifications statements and support information; WHEREAS, the recommended firm possesses the necessary s: background, and expertise to accomplish the project; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsba previously appropriated funds for said project; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby it necessary, desireable and in the public interest to procee the programming of the South Carlsbad Library Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of th of Carlsbad, California, as follows:: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That a consultant agreement with Mr. David R. : Consulting Librarian, is hereby approved and the Mayor anc Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agrf on behalf of the City of Carlsbad. /// ’ /// /// /// /// .. - e 1 3.
