RESOLUTION NO 89-263
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN FILES. I
3 WHEREAS, maintaining obsolete files, correspondence, and

other papers is uneconomical, and
for destruction of certain records, and 6
WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code provide2
7 WHEREAS, the documents listed in Exhibit rrArl, attachec
8
Purchasing Officer, and 9
hereto, and made a part hereof, have been reviewed by the
10: WHEREAS, the Purchasing Officer recommends that all
11 documents listed in Exhibit "A" are no longer required anc
12 meet the requirements of Government Code Section 34090 for
13 destruction, and
14
15
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has consented to thc
destruction of the documents listed in Exhibit trArl.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Carlsbad,

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized tc

22 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of tht
23 City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, on the
24 - 1st day of August , 1989, by the following vote, to wit
25
destroy the documents listed in Exhibit rrA1l, attachec
hereto.
