RESOLUTION NO. 89-334
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF APPLE MACINTOSH COMPUTER HARDWARE TO SUPPORT LIBRARY HYPERCARD AND
DESKTOP PUBLISHING PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
has agreed that Apple MacIntosh computers will enhance the
library’s ability to provide informational services; and
WHEREAS, Apple MacIntosh is the sole source vendor for
the necessary equipment: and
WHEREAS, a special volume discount purchase is available
through September 30, 1989;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of th
City of Carlsbad, California as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the purchase of Apple MacIntosh hardware to
support the hypercard and desktop publishing projects is
approved.
3. That the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized to
execute a purchase order for the purchase of the required
hardware in the amount of $16,787.00 plus tax.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting Of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 26th day of
September , 1989, by the following vote, to wit:
