HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-12-05; City Council; Resolution 89-425-.- * * * ' 11 0 e 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 LO 11 12 13 14 15 16 1'7 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 89-425 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO WITHDRAW APPLICATIONS PREVIOUSLY MADE TO CALTRANS FOR SENATE BILL 140 FUNDING FOR CERTAIN ARTERIAL STREET IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Co' concurs that the City Engineer should be authorized to wit1 certain applications previously made to Caltrans for Senate 140 Funding for arterial street improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the City Council on June 20, 1989, authorizec City Engineer to make application to Caltrans for Senate Bil Funding for certain arterial street improvements. 3. That the City Council authorizes the City Engine( withdraw applications for the following arterial s improvements: a. Olivenhain Road - El Camino Real to Rancho San Road. b. Rancho Santa Fe Road - La Costa Avenue to Me Drive. c. College Boulevard - Cannon Road to Lake Boule /// /// /// /// /// /// -. . That the City Council authorizes the City Enginee I continue applications for the following arterial st improvements only if the funding level is at or above the st amount: I a. Monroe Street - any amount. b. Various overlays - any amount. c. Cannon Road - Reaches 1 & 2 - ten percent (10% d. Cannon Road - Reaches 3 & 4 - ten percent (10% PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of Carlsbad City Council held on the 5th day of December 1 1989, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Pettine, and Larson I NOES: None ABSENT : Council Member Mamaux ATTEST : QA!/xL k..
