RESOLUTION NO. 90-63
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A BID AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE ORDER
FOR THE WATER METER REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad desires to replace a nun
of water meters; and
WHEREAS, the City received six responses to its request
proposal ; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the replacement meters and servj
from Schlumberger Industries/Neptune Division best meets
City's requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the bid of. Schlumberger Industries/Nept
Division, 11725 Willake Street, Santa Fe Springs,
I 90670 is hereby acepted and the Purchasing Officer

directed to execute a Purchase Order to Schlumber
~ Industries/Neptune Division for the Water ME
Replacement Program in the amount of $39,000 f
Account No. 501-840-6310-2489.
