RESOLUTION NO. 90-102
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AN ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTANT AGREEMENT FOR
LIBRARY DESIGN SERVICES, PROJECT NO. 3244
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has solicited proposa:
library design services for the new Carlsbad Library i
feasibility study of the Cole Library; and
WHEREAS, all prospective firms were required to E
qualifications statements and support information; and
WHEREAS, the recommended firm possesses the necc
skills, background and expertise to accomplish the project;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsba
previously appropriated funds for the design of this projecl
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and corrt
2. That a consultant agreement with Cardwell/':
and Associates is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clel
hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement on 1
of the City of Carlsbad.
3. Following the Mayor's signature of the agret
the City Clerk is further authorized and directed to forward (
of said agreement to Cardwell/Thomas and Associates, 1221 i
Avenue, Seattle, Washington, 98101, and the Municipal Prc
Department for their files.
