1 /I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM TARGET STORES.
2 I1 3 The City Council of the City of Carl sbad, Cal iforni a, does hereby
4 resolve as follows:
5 WHEREAS, the City's Arts Office provides cultural opportunities
6 for Carlsbad residents; and
7 WHEREAS, Target Stores is providing funds in the amount of $3,000

to the Carlsbad Arts Office to help fund the Make-A-Circus performance o
10 WHEREAS, the Make-A-Circus performance is free to the public and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of 17
Carlsbad Arts Office, acct. #001-820-4210-2495 in the amount of $440. 16
California Arts Council Grant in the amount of $860, and the City of 15
$4,300. Additional funds to present the circus will come from a 34
