RESOLUTION NO. 90-106
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLS
CHECKING.
WHEREAS, the Building Department of the City of Carlsbad is required to perform
3 CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR CONTRACT I

7 II WHEREAS, the demand for plan checks has been such that the Building Depar
8 ll must contract with a private firm to perform some of this work, and
9 WHEREAS, projections of costs based on average monthly demand show that CI
10 appropriations are insufficient to cover costs for the remainder of the 1989-90 fiscal yea
11 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad receives revenues from plan check and inspc

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carl 13
fees to cover the cost of providing this service;
California, as follows:
1511 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the additional appropriation of $179,340 from the General
unappropriated fund balance for Building Department Miscellaneous Consultants (00'
361 0-2479) is hereby approved.
