HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-04-17; City Council; Resolution 90-110*c ll e a f: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 RESOLUTION NO * 90-1 10 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, EXPRESSING ITS INTENT TO INITIATE PROCEEDINGS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 11.08 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, OR WELFARE REQUIRE THE FORMATION OF AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT ON PORTIONS OF CARLSBAD BOULEVARD, CANNON ROAD, TIERRA DEL OR0 STREET AND SHORE DRIVE 8 WHEREAS, Chapter 11.08 of the Carlsbad Municipa: 9 Railway tracks, Tierro del Oro Street and Shore Drive. 18 Cerezo Drive, Cannon Road from Carlsbad Boulevard to the A.T. 17 area generally on Carlsbad Boulevard from Tierra del Oro Str 16 investigations concerning the feasibility of such a district 15 utilities and has conducted preliminary studies and 14 WHEREAS, the City staff has consulted with the af 13 facilities; and 12 overhead facilities and the construction of new under 11 utility districts to accomplish the orderly removal of ex 10 provides for the formation in the City of Carlsbad of under 19 WHEREAS, said studies and investigations indicatc 20 determine whether or not the district should be established 21 further proceedings pursuant to Chapter 11.08 are warranl 22 for the above-described area to be known as Underground U 25 proceedings for the formation of an underground utility di 24 1. Utilities District No. 11", dated February 28, 1990, which file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbac which is incorporated by reference herein. 5.
