RESOLUTION NO. 90-128
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TRAINING
BUDGET

5 WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Carlsbad is

9 General Fund for the training of Police Officers; and
dedicated to maintaining a well trained and efficient force; and
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appropriates funds from

WHEREAS, the Peace Officers' Standards and Training

reimburses the City for a significant amount of such training costs;
13 and ll
14 11 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad will receive reimbursement
15

17 at least $15,000; and
during FY 1989-90 in excess of the amount originally estimated by
l8 (1 WHEREAS, the appropriation of funds is necessary to continue 19 I
20 and to maintain the level of training required within the department
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
22 I/ the City of Carlsbad, California, that the amount of $15,000 is
23
24 hereby appropriated from the General Fund Unappropriated Fund
25 Balance to the Police Department Training Account.
