HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-06-26; City Council; Resolution 90-197t 1 2 3 4 5 0 0 RESOLUTION NO. 90-197 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 1990 FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS AS REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES. 6 in the State of California, a General Municipal Election shall be t 7 WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General Law November 6, 1990, for the election of Municipal Officers; 8 9 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNI 10 HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: 11 SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the S 12 form and content as required by law. 19 SECTION 2. That the ballots to be used at the election shall be 18 term of four years. 17 a City Clerk for the full term of four years; and a City Treasurer for t 16 of four years; two members of the City Council for the full term of four 15 General Municipal Election for the purpose of electing a Mayor for the fu 14 held in the City of Carlsbad, California, on Tuesday, November 6, 1 13 Cal i forni a re1 ati ng to General Law Cities, there is call ed and orderec 20 SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is authorized, instructed and dire 21 time until eight o'clock p.m. of the same day when the polls shall be c 26 a.m. of the day of the election and shall remain open continuously fr 25 SECTION 4.
