RESOLUTION NO. 90-200
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
THE DARE OFFICER TO ATTEND THE ANNUAL
DARE TRAINING CONFERENCE.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad strongly
a supports Carlsbad Police Department and its law enforcement
9 efforts; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad believes

education to better accomplish its tasks; and

16 the importance of the most up-to-date information and training
17 available in the important area of Drug Abuse Resistance Education
in providing its law enforcement with the necessary means of
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad recognizes

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the

23 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

25 of Carlsbad Police Department to attend the Annual DARE Conferencc
2. That authorization is hereby given for the DARE officer

to be held July 10 through July 13, 1990, in Phoenix, Arizona.
