RESOLUTION NO. 90-205
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ENGINEER'S
"REPORT" FOR PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNUAL LEVY OF
ASSESSMENTS WITH A SPECIAL MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF CARLS
CALIFORNIA, pursuant to the terms of the "Landscaping
Lighting Act of 1972", being Division 15, Part 2 of the Str
and Highways Code of the State of California, did, by prev
Resolution, initiate proceedings and ordered the preparatio
an Engineer's "Report" for the annual levy of assessments wi
a special maintenance district, said special mainten
district known and designated as STREET LIGHTING AND LANDSCP
DISTRICT NO. 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Mainter
District"); and,
WHEREAS, there has now been presented to this City Cot
the "Report" as required by said Division 15 of the Streets
Highways Code and as previously directed by Resolution; and,
WHEREAS, this City Council has now carefully examined
reviewed the "Report" as presented, and is satisfied with
and all of the items and documents as set forth therein, an
satisfied that the assessments, on a preliminary basis,
been spread in accordance with the benefits received from
improvements to be maintained, as set forth in said "Report"
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true
correct.

SECTION 2. That the "Report" as presented consists of
following:
A. Plans and specifications describing
general nature, location and extent of the new and orig
street lighting and landscaping improvements to be maintained
B. Estimate of cost, including the amoun'
the annual installment for the forthcoming fiscal year;
C. Diagram of the Maintenance District;
D. Assessment of the estimated cost.
Said "Report", as presented, is hereby appr
on a preliminary basis, and is ordered to be filed in the Of
of the City Clerk as a permanent record and to remain ope
public inspection.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
passage and adoption of this Resolution, and the minutes of
meeting shall so reflect the presentation of the Enginc
"Report " .
