RESOLUTION NO. 90-279
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS.
THE HOLDING OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 1990, TO INCLUDE THE SUBMISSION TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS A QUESTION RELATING TO MAKING THE OFFICE OF CITY TREASURER APPOINTIVE AND A QUESTION
RELATING TO MAKING THE OFFICE OF CITY CLERK APPOINTIVE.
90-197 AND 90-198 CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the St
California relating to General Law Cities, there has been called and ord
be held in the City of Carlsbad, California, on Tuesday, November 6,
General Municipal Election for the purpose of electing a Mayor for the
four years, two members of the City Council for the term of four years,
Clerk for the term of four years, and a City Treasurer for the term I
years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council also desires to submit to 'the voters
election a question relating to making the office of City Treasurer app
and a question relating to making the office of City Clerk appointive;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ca
California, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
SECTION 2. That the City Council, pursuant to its right and aut1

SECTION 3. That Resolution No. 90-197 is hereby amended to
submission of these measures to the qualified voters of the City at the
Municipal Election to be held November 6, 1990.
SECTION 4. That Resolution No. 90-198 is hereby amended to requ,
Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego to authorize the Regis

Voters to include these measures in the provision of specified services r
to the conduct of the election of the City of Carl sbad.
8 SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and a1
9 of this Resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
