RESOLUTION NO. 90-292
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR SETTLEMENT OF THE LAWSUIT ENTITLED METZGER V. CITY OF CARLSBAD
CASE NO. N42529
WHEREAS, on recommendation of the City Attorney tl
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determ:
that a settlement in the case entitled Metzser v. City of
Carlsbad is in the public interest; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds available in 1
liability self-insurance reserve account to pay the settlemt
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci:
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correc
3. That the City Council approves the settlement
authorizes disbursement of $250,000 from the liability self-
insurance reserve account for Metzser v. City of Carlsbad.
3. That the Mayor is authorized to sign the Reler
Agreement which is hereby approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting
the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 14th dr
of August , 1990, by the following vote, to wit:
