A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT
DEFIBRILLATORMONITOR EQUIPMENT CAN ONLY
BE OBTAINED FROM ONE SOURCE, ACCEPTING BID,
AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF SAME.
WHEREAS, the City desires the purchase of defibrillator/monitor equipmE

9 and existing equipment currently in use; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department requires compatibility between new eql
10 WHEREAS, the Fire Department currently uses defibrillator/monitor eqL
XI. manufactured by Physio Control; and
I.2 // WHEREAS, Physio Control is the sole source of the Life Pak 10 Defik

Monitor Equipment; and
15 /I WHEREAS, funds are available in the Fire Suppression Account No. 001 -84(
16 3900 for this purchase; and
17 WHEREAS, the purchase of the Life Pak 10 Defibrillator/Monitor Equipme
