RESOLUTION NO. 90-312
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR
THE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE POINSETTIA LANE
INTERSTATE 5 INTERCHANGE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
finds it necessary, desirable and in the public interest to
into a cooperative agreement for improvements to the Poin
Lane Interstate 5 Interchange with the State of Cali
Department of Transportation (CALTRANS); and,
WHEREAS, an agreement to affect said improvemeni
been prepared.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and corr
2. That an agreement between the City of Carlsb
the State of California Department of Transportation fc
improvements to the Poinsettia Lane Interstate 5 Interchal
hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby auth
and directed to execute said agreement. Following the M
signature of said agreement, the City Clerk is further auth
and directed to forward three (3) certified copies of
Resolution and three (3) original copies of said agreement
State of California Department of Transportation, Distric
Attn: Kurth Barnes, 2829 Juan Street, Post Office Box 8540
Diego, CA 92138-5406, and one (1) copy of the coope
agreement and resolution to the Municipal Projects Departme I ///

3. That the Municipal Projects Department is
authorized and directed to prepare a payment request fc
Finance Department in the amount of $225,000 to be forwarded
State of California Department of Transportation, in acco
with the terms and conditions of this agreement.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting
Carlsbad City Council held on the 21st day of August
by the following vote, to wit:
