RESOLUTION NO. 90-362
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK
TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
THE JAMES DRIVE STORM DRAIN, PROJECT NO. 3224
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbi
determined it necessary, desirable, and in the public intere
construct the James Drive Storm Drain; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnish
all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and
expenses necessary or incidental for said project, have
prepared and are on file in the Municipal Projects Departm
the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $300,000 are availa
Accounts Nos. 300-820-1830-3224 and 350-820-1874-3224.
WHEREAS, Planned Local Drainage funds are not ava
to complete the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and corr
2. That the plans and specifications as present
hereby approved.
3. That Planned Local Drainage funds of $300,0
hereby disappropriated from the James Drive Storm Drain p
(350-820-1874-3224).
4. That General Capital Construction funds of $3
are hereby appropriated from the unappropriated General
balance to the James Drive Storm Drain project (300-820-1830-

5. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsk
hereby authorized and directed to publish, in accordance wit
Notice to Contractors inviting bids for the construction (
James Drive Storm Drain.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting
Carlsbad City Council held on the 2nd day of October I
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Larson and Petti
NOES : None
ABSENT : Council Member Mamaux
