A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD. CALIFORNIA. APPROVING
THE PURCHASE OF ASSESSORS
PARCEL NO. 168-020-17
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad directed

staff to begin negotiations for assessors Parcel No. 168-020-1 7 on August 15,
9 WHEREAS, the appraisal from Fuller & Associates estimated the value
lo of the property at $15,500; and
I.1 I/ WHEREAS, the owners of the parcel have agreed to sell the parcel to

13 I! the City for the sum of $20,000 and closing costs; and

time that has elapsed since the appraisal date; and
WHEREAS, the City has sufficient funds in account number 572-820-
WHEREAS, the owners price appears to be appropriate in view of the
l7 // 1890-3072 to pay for this purchase.
l8 II NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City

2o I of Carlsbad as follows:
21 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
22 2. That the price of the property is fair and equitable.

3. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute the

acquisition agreement and escrow instructions and other documents related

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the =day of Oct , 1990, by the following
vote, to wit:
