RESOLUTION NO. 90-410
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, REGARDING THE PROPOSED LAKE CALAVERA GOLF COURSE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has previc
adopted Resolution No. 90-135 approving an agreement with Don Collett
Associates for the design of the proposed Lake Calavera Go1 f Course proj

WHEREAS, the parties to said agreement desire to amend said agrec
to include additional preliminary design services as required to facili

said project.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad and Naegle and Associates, Incorpor;
have reached an agreement regarding go1 f course building design services,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby find
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to proceed with cer
aspects of the proposed Lake Calavera Golf Course Project and direct 5
regarding said aspects of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Amendment No. 1 to the existing agreement between the Cil
Carl sbad and Don Collett and Associates regarding additional go1 f cc
design services is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hc
authorized and directed to execute said Amendment. Foll owing the Ma3
signature of said Amendment, the City Clerk is further authorized
directed to forward one (1) signed copy of the Amendment to Don Colletl
Associates, 11545 West Bernard0 Court, Suite 100, P.O. Box 28785, San D-
California, 92128 and one (1) copy to the Municipal Projects Departr

3. That an agreement with Naegle and Associates is hereby approve
the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute said agreement. Foll
the Mayor's signature of said agreement, the City Clerk is further autho
and directed to forward one (1) copy of the agreement to Naegl E
Associates, Incorporated, 2210 Avenida de 1 a P1 aya, La Joll a, Cal ifo
92037 and one (1) copy to the Municipal Projects Department, attentio
C1 ark.
4. That the City Council does hereby approve a transfer and subse
appropriation of $340,190 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance 0'
General Fund to the Lake Calavera Go1 f Course Enterprise Fund, Pr
Account No. 572-820-1890-3072.
5. That the City Council did hereby receive a staff report rega
several aspects of the proposed Lake Calavera Golf Course Project.
6. That the City Council does hereby authorize City staff to
necessary project permits, appl i cati ons, approval s, and other requi remer
is appropriate and required for the Lake Calavera Golf Course Project
all Federal, State, and Local agencies and other parties as required.
7. That the City Council does hereby authorize staff to proceed
final design as identified in the existing design agreement with Don Co
and Associates.
8. That the City Council does hereby direct staff to invest
primarily Carlsbad access points to the Lake Calavera Golf Course.
9. That the City Council does hereby authorize staff to con

10. That the City Council does hereby direct staff to pursue incl
of a trail system completely around the project if possible.
